Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu (1954; Şarkışla, Sivas - March 25, 2009; Göksun, Kahramanmaraş) was a Turkish politician. He served as a Member of Parliament for Sivas in the 19th, 20th, and 23rd terms of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and was the founder of the Great Unity Party (Büyük Birlik Partisi). Yazıcıoğlu died in a helicopter crash on March 25, 2009.
His grave is located in the garden of the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Museum House. This is the Ankara house where Mehmet Akif Ersoy resided during the Turkish War of Independence and where he wrote many of his poems, including the Turkish National Anthem. It has been converted into a museum and is located within the boundaries of Hacettepe University's Central Campus.
