The castle that had been built during Assyrians had been placed over a single-piece rock, that three sides of it had been surrounded by deep valleys; the other side had been sculptured so that it had been converted to a strategically important structure.
Its interior part is empty so that it had been used as storage and shelter. There are more than hundreds of wells with miscellaneous dimensions over the castle and these wells had bee utilized diversely. The castle had been connected to other castles, Tigris Valley and Turkish baths, through the tunnels with kilometers long. For the castle citizens, who might be distressed; long tunnels, those were not known to where they headed, had been sculptured from the interiors of the rocks.
